Swedish goaltender Henrik Karlsson, who has even played for the Swedish national team this season has been called up by San Jose Sharks after the end of his Swedish Elitserien season. Karlsson was backing up Färjestad, and now he will be available for the Sharks as they signed him last August and own his NHL rights.
