The 2011 NHL All-Star game will be hosted by Carolina Hurricanes in Raleigh. Originally, the exhibition was slated for Phoenix, but due to the bankruptcy proceedings after Coyotes' financial troubles NHL has decided to find a different location. There was no All-Star game this season due to the Olympic Games in Vancouver, the previous All-Star game was in January 2009 in Montreal.
