Buffalo Sabres signed a three-year contract with young forward Luke Adam, whom they picked in the second round of the 2008 NHL draft. The 19-year old centre played for Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the QMJHL this season. He played 56 games and scored 49 goals and 41 assists.
