Buffalo Sabres might have the top rookies of 2009-2010 season in the two top hockey leagues in North America. Defender Tyler Myers is one of the serious candidates for the Calder Trophy in the NHL, and Tyler Ennis won the award for the top rookie in the AHL. The Portland forward won the AHL rookie statistics as he picked up 65 points in 69 games.
